22-09-11 Playa Honda/Lanzarote (CB) – Playa Honda will be hosting a fiesta weekend from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th September with festivities including fireworks, a foam party, horse racing on the beach and a large procession. The end of summer celebrations are due to take place at the seafront, and the car park area explanada de Guacimeta is next to the school before you come to the airport. Here you will find a large tent and a programme of the events in English is available. Friday´s celebrations comprise of the rock concert at 9 p.m. followed by a foam fiesta with DJs. On Saturday there will be a beach tennis tournament from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as well as horse racing on the beach from 6 p.m. and a fiesta party from 11 p.m. The festivities are wrapped up on Sunday with a beach tennis tournament again from 10 a.m. as well as kite decorating workshops, a sporting activities exhibition, a bike ride, a procession and a final party at 9 p.m.
