Mon - Fri, 9am - 2pm, indoor market in La Recova in the old town centre of Arrecife (behind the town hall). Access from C/ Manuel Miranda and C/ de la Liebre. There is a sign saying La Recova above the doors. Canarian specialities, bread, arts and crafts.

On Wednesdays from 9am - 2pm, 128 market traders set up their stalls on the promenade opposite the Arrecife post office, in Parque José Ramírez Cerdá. The stalls are laden with goods from everywhere - from China to Africa (though most of the “African” ones also come from China!).

Every Friday from 10am - 2pm, artists and artisans sell their own arts and crafts in the pedestrian area in Arrecife (Calle Real).

On Saturdays from 11am - 3pm there is a second-hand market in La Recova where you can buy books and audio recordings (behind the town hall). See above for address. For information and to register, call Chari 686 608 269.

On Saturdays from 10am to 1pm the stallholders are on the lookout for customers for their artwork, knick-knacks and trinkets from Asia and Africa - this time in the centre of Arrecife, around the Church of San Gines. There is also local produce available here.

Mercado de Abastos in Calle de la Longuera in Haría is open Monday - Saturday, 9am - 2pm. Five stalls with organic produce, fresh fish, fruit, vegetables and baked goods to tempt all lovers of good and local food.

Haría Youth Service holds a flea market in the market square on the first Sunday of every month, from 4pm - 8pm. Potential sellers can get information from “Punto Joven“ on 928 835 090 or 928 835 251.
