03/08/2012 Lanzarote (KMC) - The Lanzarote Vision Hop on Hop off bus service has launched its website at www.lanzarotevision.es and customers can now buy their tickets online. The website is available in the Spanish, English and German languages and contains information on prices, routes, the island of Lanzarote and the Lanzarote Vision Company.
To celebrate the new website Lanzarote Vision have introduced a special 2x1 offer, giving people the chance to buy a ticket for two days instead of one, at the same price of €19.50 for adults and €17.50 for children. The offer is valid until the 30th of September 2012. Lanzarote Vision is aimed at those who are visiting Lanzarote for the first time or those who are not spending a long time on the island.
A ticket providing an unlimited day tour of Lanzarote is €19.50 for adults and €17.50 for children (2-12 years). The service covers 2 different routes throughout the Island. The Green Route covers the North of the island and stops at Costa Teguise, Castillo de San José, Fundación César Manrique, Monumento Al Campesino, Teguise, Haría, Jameos del Aqua, Cueva de Los Verdes, Arrieta and Jardín de Cactus. Meanwhile the Red Route covers the South of the island and makes stops at Muelle de Playa Blanca, Marina Rubicón, Yaiza, San Antonio, Cento Comercial Atlántico, Club Las Vistas, Tías, San Bartolomé, Monumento al Campesino, Bodega el Grifo, Bodega la Geria and Timanfaya National Park/ camels.
Unlike on a traditional tour, ticket holders can stay in each place of interest as long as they wish, before waiting for the next bus to take them to the next place of interest or back to their starting point. With one ticket you can travel on the two routes mentioned above. There is one crossover point at Monumento Al Campesino which can be used to change the route if desired. Each bus has a tourist guide which can provide any additional information concerning each stop. There is also a headset available (included in the ticket price) which is available in 6 different languages. The northern and southern routes both begin at 9am, the northern route begins in Costa Teguise and the southern route begins in Playa Blanca and the service ends at 5.45pm. Each route takes around 120mins each way, and the pass frequency of the buses is around every 60-90 minutes at each stop. The bus runs every day, except 25 December and 1 January. Tickets can also be purchased from You Guide, travel agencies, hotel receptions, and the Lanzarote Vision outlet on Avenida de las Playas in Puerto del Carmen.
